Peter Aichmann graduated from the 5-year "Höhere Lehranstalt für Fremdenverkehrsberufe" in Kleßheim near Salzburg with the professional title "Touristikkaufmann". This was followed by professional activities in Italy and the United Kingdom.

Finally, Peter Aichmann moved to his parents' business, which is a 4-star hotel with over 80 rooms and a capacity of over 200 guest beds. This was managed by him as general manager for many years. During this time, he was responsible for the company's turnover as well as for about 35 employees, who were structured into different departments, including department managers.

Strategic and operational management were also part of his responsibilities, as well as finance and accounting in combination with business management issues. Furthermore, the areas of marketing and sales, technology and company organisation were part of his area of responsibility.

As part of his professional career, Peter Aichmann completed the Entrepreneurial Academy of the Austrian Hoteliers' Association including the diploma examination and is entitled to use the title "ÖHVD Diplomhotelier". The diploma thesis was dedicated to the topic of foundations.

Peter Aichmann also completed the university course "Controlling and Performance Management" at the Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt. The master's programme was passed with distinction, and the master's thesis to be written for it deals with company valuations.
